This is our story

Direct Ukraine was founded in spring 2022 by Magnus Lundh and Robert Quaak. It is an initiative based in Skåne and run by volunteers. We are now several committed people in Direct Ukraine who support the people of Ukraine. Our focus is on helping the most vulnerable groups in war-torn Ukraine - women, children, youth and the elderly. We collect what we know the victims of war need and deliver where it is needed most.

"We drove down with a load for the first time in March 2022. The war had just started. We came with food and toys. We met shocked and distraught women and children, who came with their belongings in plastic bags. Since then, we have traveled to Ukraine several times a year with loads of stoves, hospital beds and medicines. Sometimes it feels like a drop in the ocean, but every shipment is crucial for the people we reach."
